REQUIREMENTS:
The Middle Eastern Studies minor is an interdisciplinary program for students with a special interest in the Middle East and North Africa. Students must complete at least 3 credits from the core courses identified below and an additional 15 credits from the pre-approved courses listed below. 6 credits must be at the 400-level. A grade of C or better is required for all courses in the minor. Students may petition to have certain specific courses count toward the minor (for example, courses with numbers 083, 302, 497, may occasionally cover relevant topics). Students are strongly encouraged to participate in the appropriate education abroad programs and relevant internships and will receive credit toward the minor in consultation with the director of the Middle East Studies minor. A certificate is awarded to students who complete the requirements for the minor.
